A lovely, moroccan inspired, 2 bedroom townhouse located on the much sought after urbanization of Portico Mediterraneo near to Guardamar.

The location is perfect for a relaxed holiday, close to the local beaches and near to the town of Guardamar this townhouse offers it all for the holiday maker.

This comfortable mid terrace property is owned by interior designers and the decor is stylish and comfortable throughout the house. The house sleeps 4 

The house has a front terrace and dining area and small garden perfect for sunbathing or relaxing. There is an outside built in BBQ with a further seating area to the rear of the property with access to the large communal garden.

The well kept gardens are in a tropical setting full of plants, trees and birds with 2 large pools with childrens pool sections to the main pools.

The house is designed more like a home than a holiday rental. Tastefully decorated and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The open plan lounge/diner has patio doors leading onto the front terrace. There is an air conditioning unit in the living area. There is English and Spanish TV and DVD player with a selection of films and board games. 

The separate bright kitchen is well equipped and has direct access to the rear garden and BBQ area. A cupboard outside has a variety of childrens beach toys and sunloungers.

Completing the downstairs is a guest WC. 

Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double and one with twin beds. The master bedroom has a further dressing room which has a foldup bed for a child or young adult. There is a ceiling fan above the bed and ample wardrobe space.

There is a family bathroom with a shower and bidet on this floor.

At the top of the house are a further two sun terraces with views accross the pine forest to the sea in one direction and accross the lemon groves to the lakes and mountains in the other.

Upstairs on the roof terrace, lay out a rug and cushions under a parasol for an exotic Kasbah, for nude sunbathing, relaxing with a book or evening cocktail watching the sun set over the lake.

The house is in a great location, just a few hundred meters from a beautiful sandy beach backed by sand dunes and pine forest.  Long, almost deserted beaches and turquoise water beckons, or walk left or right to eventually come across a beach bar, sunbeds and facilities. 

Portico Mediterraneo has orange and lemon groves to the rear with a delightful walk down to the lake, where bird watching huts enable you to watch the enormous variety of bird life.

There is a bar restaurant within 100m and a mini market at the end of the road for freshly baked bread, ice creams and forgotten items. Larger supermarkets are nearby in the local town and local outdoor markets selling fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, clothes etc. are within walking distance. 

Guardamar is a beach front town with a promenade packed full of restaurants, cafes and bars overlooking the sandy beach. There is a beautiful park in the centre with a lake that is home to bird life and many ducks. There is a huge and lively colourful market every Wednesday morning selling everything from produce to clothes, shoes and jewellery. 

The town centre is full of shops, restaurants and cafes which close for siesta and open again in the late afternoon. Nightlife is buzzing with a funfair and evening market near the park selling crafts, gifts, clothes and jewellery. 

All in all, this is a lovely house, close to the beach and local amenities and makes an ideal location for couples or families wanting a quiet location that is not too far from the local town.

WiFi is available at a cost of 10€ per week.

Pets are welcome at the house, but there will be an additional security deposit payable.

Car hire is recommended but not essential as there are several bus stop nearby which will take you into Guardamar in one direction and into Torrevieja in the other direction.

Booking terms
How and what you need to pay: • All pricing is in Euro’s. • Payment can be made by bank transfer to Spanish bank account, via credit card over the phone or via paypal. • 25% deposit is required on reservation. • The balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. • If your arrival dates are less than 6 weeks from your booking date, payment in full is required on booking. • The security deposit of 150€ is required with the final balance and will be refunded after your departure providing no damage has been caused. Should a pet be accepted for the holiday the security deposit will increase to 250€. • WiFi is available as an option for 10€ per week. Cleaning fee of 75€ is applied to the booking price. Use of the fold-up bed is an additional charge of 10€ for linen. Check in / Check out times: • Check-in is normally after 14:00. Please ask if you would like to check in earlier. • Check out is at 10:00am or earlier. Please ask if you would like to check out later. This may be subject to a late check-out fee. Late arrivals: • For any arrivals after 18:00 Monday to Friday and anytime at the weekend there is a €20 arrival fee to pay when you check in.
